Customer Support Assistant I
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is currently looking for a temporary Customer Support Assistant I to work with Our Alliance Support Specialists in Lexington, Kentucky. The Customer Support Assistant position is an operational role responsible for assisting our on-site technical leaders who are supporting leading edge technology installed in a Retail end-user environment for a strategic Toshiba client. The role requires a flexible work schedule and some off-hours support of the Toshiba technical team. This role requires a functional understanding of personal computer (PC) operations and the ability to operate in a virtual reality console setting.
Problem solving, spatial and hand-eye coordination skills are preferred. The role also requires the ability to work well with others, especially in a remote support environment. Candidates will be assisting with remote monitoring, will need to be able provided clear instructions to end users and accurate descriptions of issues to the Toshiba technical representative on issues.

- 1+ year of field service and support experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to provide remote guidance and support
- Ability to visualize and navigate objects in a virtual reality/3D space
