Introduction:

              Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is currently looking for a Store As A Service  (STaaS) Program Manager (TPM V) to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC.  The STaaS Program Manager at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions will play a key role in the evolution of our hardware and software maintenance services offerings within the retailer's stores and enterprise environments.   Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions provides products and services to retail clients worldwide and offers an array of post-sale maintenance for systems within their retail landscape.  We seek energetic and skilled resources to work in a dynamic, collaborative and ever-changing environment.  Candidates should have expertise in translating IT requirements into solutions driven by detailed project plans via the use of Project Management disciplines.  Given the client facing nature of this role, up to 50% travel is expected.

Responsibilities of the STaaS Program Manager include:

  • Focal point to client for TGCS' Store As A Service solution integration
  • Provide STaaS expertise for sales efforts & client initiatives
  • Define and document solution (hardware and software) requirements
  • Provide consulting and support on best practices, operations, training, optimization
  • Establish metrics, measurement processes, reporting formats
  • Develop, refine and implement the onboarding playbook for each client engagement
  • Establish high level project timeline and provide input to client's project plan
  • Assist / support customer with solution scaling, validation and operations
  • Manage and communicate issues, changes, new requirements and future enhancements
  • Ensure support processes and resources are in place and escalation vehicles defined
  • Provide pilot solution support & resolve functionality and quality issues
  • Establish planning process for on-going operations and enhancement requests
  • Assess and communicate impact of client environment changes
  • Grow and lead a team of skilled resources to engage clients at multiple levels

Required Skills:
  • BA/BS (in engineering, computer programming or related technical field) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as project manager
  • 8 years of experience in IT industry
  • Retail Industry knowledge - particularly HW maintenance and support operations
  • Project Management experience with a proven track record across complex engagements
  • Experience gathering and documenting solution requirements
  • Customer facing experience
  • Manage P&L for each project
  • Billable Services background
  • Strong interpersonal skills are critical in this customer-facing role 

Preferred Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager implementing Remote Management and/or ServiceNow solutions
  • Experience managing custom engagements
  • Experience with Point Of Sale hardware and software environments
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence is a huge plus
